Team Engine users can now store employee-related documents on their profile in the Employee Directory (or Applicant Funnel, if they haven’t been hired yet).
Along with our recent notes feature, this new Document section creates a digital catch-all for every piece of relevant information you might want to store on an employee before, during and after their time working with you.

How to Upload & Retrieve Documents
To Upload
- Navigate to the Employee Directory
- Search for the employee
- Click to open their profile
- Click the “Documents” icon
- Click “Add Document”
- Upload the document
To Retrieve
- Navigate to the Employee Directory
- Search for the employee
- Click to open their profile
- Click the “Documents” icon
- Choose to “Download” or “Delete” the document
FAQ
What types and sizes of files I can upload?
You can upload Excel files, Word docs, PDFs, JPGs and PNGs with a limit of 25 MB per upload.
Can I save photos that come in via text from the employees?
Attached images from messages automatically appear in the Documents tab, where you’ll see a thumbnail of the image sent and the date it was received.
Note: We only save images that are received in texts, so attachments that aren’t a JPG or PNG will need to be downloaded from the message they were attached to, and then manually uploaded to the applicant or employee profile.
Will files saved to the Applicant Profile carry over to the Employee Profile once they are hired?
Yes.
